NYPD on lookout for ATM criminal group

The NYPD is on the lookout for a group of individuals who are behind 40 ATM thefts in the area, including three in Brooklyn, 28 in Queens and nine in the Bronx. In each incident, three or four men enter into a local business, steal the ATM, coin machine and cash from the register, according to a report by ABC 7.

The group uses a variety of vehicles with stolen plates to escape from the scene in each incident. The first reported robbery took place on March 21 and continued through June 3.

The NYPD has released a video of the robbery in hope of identifying the suspects.
