Nymeo Federal Credit Union wins recognition as 1 of the best workplaces in Maryland

The Daily Record and Best Companies Group has named Nymeo Federal Credit Union as the second best company to work for in Maryland. The list honors companies that create great workplaces and cultures for their employees, according to a press release.
To determine the ranking, The Daily Record and Best Companies Group evaluates company polices, practices and demographics and also conducts an employee survey. The survey makes up 75% of the total score. Nymeo won recognition for benefits such as birthday time off, pet-friendly workplace, elder-care assistance and more. In addition, the credit union allows members to contribute to the Maryland Food Bank's School Pantry Program.
"Being recognized both locally and nationally is a tremendous honor for our credit union," Vicki Johnston, president and CEO of Nymeo, said in the release. "We are so proud of the culture we've built and truly believe that when employees thrive, our members and communities thrive too."
