NYCE certifies Diebold's Agilis ATM software

April 28, 2003

NORTH CANTON, Ohio -- NYCE Corporation says it recently completed the steps necessary to allow NYCE to drive Diebold Incorporated's (NYSE: DBD) ix Series of ATMs using Diebold's new Agilis 91x software.

NYCE is also preparing to support Opteva, Diebold's newest family of advanced-function ATMs and cash dispensers, which the company introduced in March. Support for the Opteva models is expected to be available by the end of May, according to a news release.

John Berg, NYCE's director of Alternative Delivery Services, said in the release that the Agilis architecture will "help NYCE to develop and integrate more of the features that are commonly available in the industry today, thus giving our clients the ability to take advantage of many more options than are available in standard legacy software offerings."

Agilis 91x, one of the applications in Diebold's family of Microsoft Windows-based ATM software, is a prepackaged application for use in ATMs that communicate to networks using the Diebold 911/912 message protocol.

Earlier this month, Concord EFS said it had certified Diebold's 91x Agilis software for use in the Star Systems network.
