NYC robber steals $200K from open ATM

A man in New York City allegedly stole $200,000 from an ATM at the Midtown TD Bank when he saw that the money storage compartment had been left open. He first entered the bank at 11:35 a.m. on June 17 and upon seeing the ATM open, he left and returned with a black plastic bag to take some cash, according to a report by The New York Post.

The NYPD said the man removed two sleeves of money from the ATM. There are currently no arrests, and the case is ongoing.
