North Carolina police seeking 3 ATM thieves

Hickory, North Carolina police are on the lookout for three people who allegedly used a stolen Ford F-350 truck to steal from an ATM. The individuals allegedly used a logging chain to pull the ATM apart and steal cash, according to a report by WSOC-TV.

The truck was stolen from a downtown Hickory parking lot and left near the scene of the crime, still running. The owner didn't find out about the theft until after police recovered the truck.

There have been multiple ATM attacks in Western North Carolina recently, including one at the Hickory Metro Convention Center. The investigation is ongoing.
