Nomad Software CEO joins ATMIA Europe board

March 24, 2002

LONDON -- James Stevenson, chief executive officer of Nomad Software, has joined the board of ATMIA (ATM Industry Association) Europe.

According to Stevenson, Nomad believes that ATMIA is a key organization in promoting the expansion of ATM networks in Europe.

"With our experience of banks throughout central and Eastern Europe, we feel that we have a lot to offer ATMIA and its members," James Stevenson said.

Mike Lee, executive director international of ATMIA, said he was impressed by Stevenson's vision of growth and believes the two organizations will develop a productive relationship which will benefit the industry as it seeks to generate high-level growth in European countries where the current level of ATM installation per-capita is average or low.

ATMIA Europe's vision is to advance and empower the European ATM industry, by leveraging its collective voice and monitoring ATM and financial services regulatory developments at the European Union level, and by addressing industry issues like ATM security, ATM advertising, access of the disabled to ATMs and EMV compliance.

ATMIA encourages and facilitates European-wide networking, through annual ATM trade shows and builds an online ATM community through links, storefronts and information-sharing on its European Web site.
