NMI partners with Authvia for text payments

NMI, a commerce technology company, has partnered with Authvia to offer its TXT2PAY service to its partners and merchants. With this tool, merchants can request and receive payments via text message, according to a press release.

Merchants can enable TXT2PAY on NMI's marketplace, while on the Virtual Terminal, businesses can create payment requests, see a text preview, receive payments and receipts and more.

'We have seen an increased demand from both merchants and consumers for quicker, more frictionless payment solutions, and TXT2PAY meets those needs through a device people use every day — their smartphone," Chris Brunner, founder and CEO at Authvia, said in the release. "Additionally, TXT2PAY allows merchants to seamlessly handle billing and boost both compliance and security due to the nature of the transaction being on cardholders' own phones. We are proud to partner with NMI to provide TXT2PAY through NMI's marketplace."
