CitiServe, a self-service solutions deployer in Nigeria, has introduced the CitiServe Point of Sale Terminal, which accepts all ATM cards, according to Vanguard.
The CMPOS terminals are certified by the Nigerian Inter Bank Settlement System and compliant with the requirements of the Central Bank of Nigeria, according to the article.
Executive Director of Vigeo Holdings, the parent company of CitiServe, Lola Ogunbambi said the terminals have the ability to capture weak radio signals, and also have a battery life span of 72 hours.
The terminals are also certified by MasterCard and VISA, she stated in the article.
"With the new cashless campaign by the CBN, going cashless has now been made easier. The portable, dust-proof and user-friendly CMPOS by CitiServe enables customers to carry out electronic payment transactions easily," Ogunbambi said.
