The National Football League has named U.S. Bank as its official bank and wealth management sponsor. The bank will be the presenting sponsor of the Super Bowl MVP Award and of the NFL FLAG Championships, according to a press release.

U.S. Bank will provide its Financial Edge program for NFL players to empower them to take charge of their finances. It will include topics such as cash flow, charitable services, savings, building wealth and preparing for life after retiring from football. Fernando Mendoza, a member of the 2026 NFL Draft class, will serve as U.S. Bank chief financial playmaker for Financial Edge.

"U.S. Bank is a trusted financial institution with a strong commitment to communities and financial stability and education for all," Renie Anderson, chief revenue officer and EVP of the NFL, said in the release. "The work we will do together, especially around financial education expertise, will empower individuals at every stage of their financial journey and specifically help our players to succeed long after their careers on the field have ended. We're excited to build on our decades-long relationship with U.S. Bank with this new official partnership."
