RALEIGH, N.C. - Nexus Software, Inc., a provider of cross-channel client middleware for financial services, has released INvolve 3.3 Self-Service Edition (SSE) to expand the flagship product's device support for financial institutions. INvolve is a set of software components that help simplify the development of and reduce the time of constructing self-service applications.
According to a news release, INvolve 3.3 SSE is now Fujitsu 7000 certified and able to support the recently released Opteva ATMs from Diebold. INvolve 3.3 SSE also now supports bulk note cash acceptance, currency recyclers and security module compliance specific to certain countries, including Switzerland and Luxembourg.
"As the financial industry's compliance and device landscape continue to change, Nexus'INvolve client middleware solution will continue to adapt and improve cross-channel capabilities for our clients and their customers," said Robert Usner, director of Product Marketing and Management for Nexus, in a news release.
Usner said the latest upgrade addresses XFS 3.02 application compliance, including EMV and Article 6 Paragraph 36 requirements.
INvolve 3.3 SSE also includes a special interface for handling applications to custom device hardware operations, permitting non-standard device features, such as proprietary status information or previously proprietary device functions, to be accessed while still maintaining full XFS compliance.
The INvolve family of cross-channel client middleware supports either single or cross-channel solution architectures with one common API to connect financial services solutions to multiple and varied sets of more than 250 banking-specific devices used with branch teller workstations, kiosks and ATMs, according to the release.
INvolve 3.3 SSE is available immediately to existing customers; evaluation versions are also available. The company plans to follow this release with INvolve 3.3 Developer Edition and Branch Edition, which will both be available soon, according to the release.
