RALEIGH, N.C. -- Middleware provider Nexus Software, Inc. says that its INvolve® 3.2 Branch Edition (BE) is now available. The latest release within the INvolve family of middleware joins INvolve 3.2 Developer Edition (DE) and Self-Service Edition (SSE) to enable users to develop and deploy a single solution that runs across all of their device-oriented customer channels, including ATMs.
According to a news release, INvolve DE is used to create single channel or cross-channel solutions using the developer's choice of development environment. The result is deployed using the appropriate channel-oriented edition: INvolve BE for branch teller delivery or INvolve SSE for multi-vendor ATM delivery.
INvolve 3.2 BE expands device support to more than 170 branch-specific devices from 40 different manufacturers encompassed within more than 200 industry standard XFS service providers as well as the continued support of any Windows-compatible print device.
"INvolve 3.2 editions support the choices and environments that financial solution developers and financial services providers require in today's market in order to become more competitive," said said Robert Usner, marketing director for Nexus Software, in the release.
INvolve 3.2 BE is compatible with Microsoft® ActiveX and .NET development environments, as well as Java J2EE environments deployed to Windows clients. Since INvolve 3.2 BE fully encompasses Nexus XFSConnect 2.7 device support and tools, existing XFS 2 branch automation applications are fully upward compatible.
INvolve 3.2 BE is available immediately to existing customers and evaluation versions are also offered, according to the release.
Nexus Software XFS standards-based, vendor neutral solutions are installed in more than 90,000 ATMs, kiosks and branch teller stations at more than 580 financial institutions around the world.
