New York Road Runners names Citizens official bank

The New York Road Runners, a community running organization, and the TCS New York City Marathon have named Citizens as their official bank. In addition, Citizens will be the title sponsor of the Queens 10K which draws more than 10,000 runners each June.

The TCS New York City Marathon in particular brings more than 50,000 runners to the city and Citizens' signage will be in play on the route and throughout the city leading up to and on Nov. 5.

"Citizens is committed to helping New York City neighborhoods reach their potential," Bruce Van Saun, chairman and CEO, Citizens, said in the release. "We are honored to partner with NYRR to celebrate the resilience and spirit of the runners and their fans and create positive impact for the city on marathon Sunday and throughout the year."
