Amsterdam-based cybersecurity startup EclecticIQ has developed threat intelligence software that helps analysts not only to improve their intelligence gathering, but also to share information with trusted colleagues both inside and outside of the organization to facilitate a more proactive response, according to a company press release.
Threat analysts cull information from a variety of sources to piece together a picture of the overall threat landscape. However, the sheer volume of available intelligence makes analysis and prioritization a difficult task.
The EclecticIQ Threat Intelligence Platform gathers information from trusted sources and allows analysts to share basic intelligence more easily while they focus on higher-level concerns, the company said.
For the past year, EclecticIQ has been working with financial institutions and security organizations such as the NATO Communications and Information Agency to fine-tune the software, which is now being launched globally.
"Cybersecurity has become a mainstream concern," EclecticIQ CEO Joep Gommers said in the release. "Boards and executives finally have cyberthreat on their strategic radar. Our technologies help organizations speed up the adoption of a cyberthreat intelligence practice and take control of their cyber security."
