Nebraska police arrest 3 for ATM skimming

Authorities in Omaha, Nebraska arrested three individuals for allegedly placing skimming devices on ATMs. An employee at First National Bank of Omaha discovered one of the skimmers at a branch, and police were able to find the suspects in a nearby motel, according to a report by WOWT 6 News.

"We are aware of this event, and took proactive steps to contact our customers, issue new cards and will work to refund any fraudulent charges," Sally Christensen, spokesperson for FNBO, told the news outlet. "We encourage our customers to monitor their accounts and contact us if they see anything suspicious. Our fraud specialists are monitoring accounts and available to assist 24 hours a day."
