Nearly one-third of women plan to purchase cryptocurrency in 2022

Nearly one in three women plan to purchase cryptocurrency in 2022, according to a survey from BlockFi. The survey also found that 24% of women own cryptocurrency, according to a press release.

Of the cryptocurrencies, 71% of women purchase bitcoin with Dogecoin and Ethereum taking 42% and 18% respectively. Other findings reveal:

• 75% of women who own crypto have traded it.
• Only one in 10 own a crypto interest account and one in 20 have purchased NFTs.
• One in five women believe cryptocurrency can help them reach their financial goals.
