NCR, MX solution helps consumers manage money, FIs maximize data

NCR Corp., a provider of omnichannel solutions, has partnered with data specialist MX to launch NCR Money Management. The new platform was designed to give consumers an intuitive interface for managing and improving their financial lives, according to an NCR press release.

NCR Money Management combines digital banking capabilities from Digital Insight, an NCR company, and user experience intelligence from MX to offer account holders practical financial data to help with day-to-day spending decisions, budgeting, and financial planning.

For the financial institution, the platform delivers cleansed and categorized transaction data that makes spending behavior easy to interpret, along with multisource aggregation. The FI can analyze this nonsensitive primary and aggregated account data to present more targeted and relevant offers to their end customers, the press release said.

"We're excited to bring our customers a solution that assists consumers in making smarter financial decisions and enriches the relationship that financial institutions have with their customers."

NCR Money Management will launch as a pilot in fall 2016, and will be widely available in 2017. Initially, the partnership will transition 471 financial institutions and 3.5 million users to NCR Money Management.
