LAS VEGAS -NCR Corp. (NYSE: NCR) announced the launch of its EasyPoint 62 ATM and NCR Personas M Series 74 ATM at the BAI Retail Delivery Conference and Expo 2004 in Las Vegas this week, according to a news release.
The EasyPoint 62 is the latest member of NCR's EasyPoint range of products, designed for deployment in lower volume branch and retail locations, according to the release. EasyPoint 62 is a small footprint, indoor ATM that has one of the largest screens in its class; however, it allows for low levels of energy consumption, security and rapid, easy deployment, the release added. EasyPoint 62 is a freestanding ATM with a service footprint that is up to 40 percent lower than comparable machines, the release also noted.
According to the release, EasyPoint 62 supports multiple communications options including wireless connectivity and an optional intelligent power management system with an integrated uninterruptible power supply.
The Personas M Series 74 is a cash deposit ATM with a compact footprint as well, making it a good fit for locations where space is minimal. This ATM has modular flexibility that enables banks to introduce advanced ATM functions, the release noted. This ATM offers PIN security, with support for Triple DES and remote-key management, the released added. Countermeasures include enhanced card drive and card return, when power failure occurs, and Fluiditi ink staining. It is also capable of mixed-bunch note acceptance and supports multi-currency deposits and remote download of currency templates.
The EasyPoint 62 and Personas M Series 74 can run on a Windows XP platform.
