DAYTON, Ohio -- NCR Corporation (NYSE: NCR) will license its APTRA software to Brazil-based Tecnologia Bancária S.A. (TecBan), as well as provide software maintenance and professional services, in a three-year, multimillion-dollar deal.
According to a news release, NCR's open-architecture software will be used to transition TecBan's multi-vendor ATM network to the Microsoft® Windows® NT operating system.
Ranato Mascaretti, TecBan general manager, said in the release that TecBan, a longtime NCR customer, believes that NCR can provide "a reliable and fast evolution to the Windows NT platform."
