First Tennessee Bank, the largest bank headquartered in the state of Tennessee, has joined the surcharge-free Allpoint Network, according to a press release.
The Allpoint Network comprises 43,000 ATMs in retail locations nationwide. Many of the machines are situated within the FI's core branch footprint and across the Mid-Atlantic region, where the bank has a growing presence.
"At a time when ATMs are becoming America's source for cash, Allpoint delivers to First Tennessee customers a national ATM footprint, high quality retail locations, and an unrivaled density of convenient cash access points," Allpoint Executive Vice President and Managing Director Bill Knoll said in the release.
Allpoint adds more than 570 surcharge-free ATMs to the First Tennessee's existing in-state network.
"Our customers have enthusiastically embraced the digital transformation of banking, which has heightened the need for us to enhance our self-service capabilities, including the ATM," said Dave Miller, executive vice president of consumer banking at First Tennessee. "Allpoint Network, which allows First Tennessee customers to withdraw surcharge-free cash where and when it's easiest for them, is evidence of our focus on consistently offering a best-in-class customer experience."
