DAYTON, Ohio -- Teradata, a division of NCR Corporation and National Australia Bank have received the National Center for Database Marketing (NCDM) Database Excellence Gold Award for creativity, ingenuity and dramatic results in relationship marketing. The award was presented at the NCDM Winter 2001 conference in New Orleans, held Dec. 9-11.
This marks the second consecutive year Teradata has received the top honor by NCDM, the Direct Marketing Association and Direct magazine. This year's winner was chosen from 37 entries.
National Australia Bank is an international financial services group providing a comprehensive and integrated range of financial services across four continents and 15 countries.
"We are pleased to share this award with National Australia Bank, a truly innovative organization," said Mark Hurd, president of NCR and chief operating officer of Teradata. "This is an especially meaningful award for Teradata, being honored two years in a row by the DMA."
