Palmer Hamilton, a senior governmental affairs advisor and counselor for the National ATM Council, passed away Oct. 15.
In addition to his role on the ATM Council, he also served as head of the Washington D.C. law office of Jones Walker, according to a press release.
In his role for the NAC, Palmer worked in D.C. to push for legislation to ensure the continued acceptance of cash for all consumers in the U.S. He also regularly attended NAC conferences to answer questions and gain insights from ATM operators.
His family requests memorial donations be given to the Order of St. John, Palmer's favorite charity.
