Mphasis, Delta Power announce ‘green’ e-surveillance solution

IT services provider Mphasis has launched its anticipated all-in-one e-surveillance and power efficiency solution, ProTecht, in partnership with India’s power management specialist Delta Power Solutions.

ProTecht will allow Mphasis Payment Managed Services, the ATM deployment and management services unit of Mphasis, to offer a single-window solution for ATM security and power efficiency, a news release said.

The ProTecht single-user interface provides a 360-degree view of an ATM and its site, and a suite of offerings that includes theft prevention, theft deterrent, and real time alarms. The solution also reduces the overall energy spend at ATM sites by 30 percent and promotes proactive maintenance for higher uptime.

"The ProTecht solution leverages technology for quick and speedy action [and] prevention of theft like never seen before,” said Puneet Bhirani, EVP and head of Mphasis Payment Managed Services. “Advanced analytics, both image and video, make it less human-dependent and, combined with best in class power efficiency, the total cost of ownership of this solution is a very cost-competitive value proposition for the Indian Banking sector.”
