Mozper debit card, app raises $3.55M in seed round

Mozper, a Latin America debit card and app designed for children and parents which has launched in Mexico on Nov. 2, has raised a $3.55 million in a seed round. The company helps children develop good financial habits, according to a Crunchbase report.

The concept came from U.S. fintech startups gohenry.com which raised $40 million in a financing round last week, according to the report. Mozpe beta-tested the platform in August with 500 families before launching to the public on Nov. 2. Since then, the number of users has been growing 20% week over week, according to Yael Israeli, the company's CFO.
