Mountain America Credit Union partners with Blend for home equity solution

Mountain America Credit Union, based in Utah, has partnered with Blend, a cloud banking software provider, to provide its Instant Home Equity solution to members. With this solution, the credit union aims to reduce loan application approval times, according to a press release.

The product provides both automated income and identity verification for real-time decisioning, property appraisal and online notarization. This will save time for both lenders and borrowers, according to a press release.

"Our focus is always on our members and providing with the financial resources that help them define and achieve their financial dreams," Amy Moser, senior vice president and chief lending officer at Mountain America, said in the release. "Working with Blend supports our prioritization of identifying ways to provide our members with personalized financial experiences in the context of home equity lending that help us achieve our goals and provide an outstanding member experience."
