Mosaic's Postilion supports bcgi's ATM phone top-up interface

May 6, 2003

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. -- Mosaic Software, a transaction processing software provider, says that its Postilion platform now includes a bcgi Wireless Wallet interface to support Boston Communication Group's (bcgi) ATM Recharge.

A provider of transaction processing software for real-time wireless subscriber management, payment services, billing and customer care, bcgi is working with several ATM companies, including E*Trade Access and NCR's iATMglobal, to offer prepaid telephone top-ups at ATMs. It has relationships with approximately 70 wireless carriers and resellers, including five of the top six national carriers.

"As both companies are innovators in transaction processing, adding the bcgi Wireless Wallet interface to the Postilion system is a great fit," said bcgi's James Anderson, vice president, Payment Services, in a news release. "The interface has been in production for over six months, so customers can be comfortable that it is marketplace tested."

Mosaic Software's Postilion is a Windows 2000-based EFT system which processes transactions from a wide range of devices and systems, including ATMs, point-of-sale terminals, kiosks and mobile devices. Postilion routes transactions to multiple end-points such as EFT networks and card issuers for payment authorization, and connects to prepaid platforms such as that offered by bcgi to recharge prepaid wireless accounts.

"The opportunity to work with bcgi, a pioneer in recharging wireless accounts at U.S. ATMs, has been a valuable experience for Mosaic Software," said Johann Dreyer, Mosaic's chief executive.
