Mosaic Software's Postilion facilitates mobile phone "top-ups" in UK

January 3, 2002

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. -- Mosaic Software's Postilion EFT transaction software platform has been implemented by PayPoint, one of the first UK companies to offer instant electronic top-ups for mobile phones.

PayPoint uses Postilion PrePay, a Windows-based application, to drive all mobile prepay transactions acquired through its network. At the point of acquiring the transaction, Postilion PrePay communicates to the mobile network to ensure the correct top-up is allocated to the consumer's account.

With more than 8,000 outlets in convenience stores, supermarkets and other locations across the UK, PayPoint is the leading branded national network for collecting payments "over the counter." PayPoint serves customers of all four major mobile network operators in the UK: Vodafone, Orange, BT Cellnet and One2One.

"We are delighted to know that Mosaic Software can positively impact business and at the same time improve consumer choice,' said Stevi Lowmass, general manager of Mosaic Software in Europe.
