Mosaic reseller wins EMV contract in Finland

January 30, 2002

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. -- Mosaic's Postilion EFT switching software, marketed in Europe by Logica as EMV Enabler, has been selected by Finland's central switch, Luottokunta, to support their EMV chip infrastructure.

The migration project to achieve compliance with the global EMV standards, as set out by the card schemes (Europay, VISA, Mastercard), will allow all banks in Finland using Luottokunta's services to process chip card transactions by March 2001.

"Luottokunta and Logica are to be congratulated on addressing the processing of chip card transactions well ahead of the compliance dates set by VISA and Europay," said Stevi Lowmass, general manager of Mosaic Software in Europe.

Mosaic Software's Windows NT-based EFT software is used worldwide for ATM driving/monitoring, EFT switching and routing, POS credit/debit card transaction processing, Internet/call center payment authorizations, WAP and mobile commerce applications. Mosaic has offices in the U.S., UK, South Africa and Australia. Mosaic's clients include 7-Eleven, American Express, Innoventry, iATM Global, Calypso Canada and AutoBranch Technologies.

Mosaic Software is held by strategic partners GE Capital, Comparex Holdings and Mosaic Management.
