MontegoNet introduces iBank kiosk

March 29, 2005

PORTSMOUTH, R.I. - MontegoNet has unveiled the iBank, a complete kiosk hardware/software solution designed to support financial institutions' self-service initiatives while addressing their security requirements. According to a news release, MontegoNet has also launched a new Web site, www.ibank-kiosk.com to support this new product introduction.

The iBank enables banks and credit unions to bring the functionality of their Web sites - including online banking, check reordering and loan applications - to branch visitors. iBank includes features that address financial institutions' security concerns as well as customer privacy concerns, such as software that restricts customers to the bank/credit union's Web site and a proximity sensor that automatically logs users out when they walk away.

"For banks and credit unions, the value of the iBank is twofold," said MontegoNet president Thomas Smith. "Not only does it help them to enhance their customer service, it also provides an effective tool for migrating traditional branch visitors into home banking customers."

The iBank is available exclusively through authorized iBank resellers.
