MoneyBox, NCR launch new program for UK c-stores

LONDON -- MoneyBox Corporation Limited, an independent deployer of ATMs, has purchased 500 MCDs from NCR for placement in UK convenience stores. MoneyBox's Partnership Program will allow site owners to lease or purchase a machine. Under MoneyBox's Partnership Program, NCR installs the ATM and provides ongoing maintenance. According to Stanley, Moneybox has 978 sites under contract in the UK and sees an opportunity to deploy more machines over the next 18 months. "Many of these machines will be under our new Partnership Program." Bob Tramontano, vice president of NCR's Financial Solutions Group, said, "From our experience in the US, we believe that giving the consumer convenience and value will help fuel the growth of convenience ATMs in the UK and the rest of Europe."
