Metropolitan Commercial Bank named as an SBA loan provider

Metropolitan Commercial Bank, based in New York, has been named as a Small Business Administration loan provider.

Through the designation it aims to support communities and small business owners in New York, according to a press release.

The bank will offer funding for a variety of business needs such as working capital, expansion and equipment purchases.

"Small businesses are the backbone of our communities and the engine of innovation," Scott Lublin, EVP and chief lending officer at Metropolitan Commercial Bank, said in the release. "Becoming an SBA 7 (a) loan provider allows us to deepen our impact, offering tailored financial support to those who drive local economies and create jobs."
