PORTLAND, Ore. -- MeriStar Hotels & Resorts, Inc. has signed on as a client of Card Capture Services, Inc. Authorized CCS dealer ATMM of Salt Lake City, Utah has placed 31 ATMs to date, and will place four more on MeriStar leased and managed properties across the U.S. by year's end. Each of the installed ATMs includes software for CCS' onscreen advertising and couponing program. MeriStar general managers have used the program to promote happy hour at their hotel and resort restaurants and bars and to run promotions that benefit the guests of MeriStar properties. One promotion at a Holiday Inn Select in Dallas Fort Worth offers $1 off a shoeshine in the hotel lobby with each transaction. According to CCS, 20 percent of ATM users are using the coupon at the hotel. ATMM also worked with MeriStar Hotels & Resorts to develop a custom wood cabinet that encases Card Capture's CCSExpress ATMs in a style that is compatible with the interior design of each lobby. MeriStar Hotels & Resorts, Inc., the lodging industry's largest independent multi-brand hotel management company, manages and/or leases 218 hotels in 35 states, Canada and the Caribbean. Founded in 1997, ATMM USA, LLC is one of 35 dealers independently contracted by CCS. The company operates ATMs in 21 states at hotel, resort, ski area and restaurant locations.
