Melbourne ATM scam suspected to hit $1 million

The Age:Police inMelbourne,Australia, now estimate about $1 million has been stolen through recent ATM scams. Five Romanian men face charges accusing them of running a scam involving an ANZ ATM that allegedly stole at least $500,000 from the bank's customers. The men allegedly used fraudulent bank cards produced by a skimming device on the ATM to withdraw money from ANZ customers'accounts. The Commonwealth Bank also was hit and says four of its ATMs had been tampered with.
