Manasquan Bank, based in New Jersey, recently celebrated its 150th anniversary by making donations to multiple charities. The bank raised more than $12,000 for the charities as part of its 2024 Days of Giving donation program, according to a press release.
During this event, customers could visit the branch for a coin exchange initiative where they could donate their coins and the bank would match up to 15% of the total.
Through this program, Manasquan Bank donated money to Kindness Café on Maine, Next Steps Adult Day Program, Sandy Hook Foundation, Chef Lou's Army and others.
"As we celebrate 150 years of serving our communities, we are extraordinarily proud of the success of this year's Days of Giving. The generosity and support of our clients and the community have allowed us to make a significant impact on these ten remarkable organizations. Our commitment to fostering positive change and supporting those in need remains as strong as ever," James S. Vaccaro, chair, president and CEO of Manasquan Bank, said in the release.
