Man convicted for robbing 4 banks

A man has been convicted of robbing four banks in Colorado during a four-month period. He was arrested on Dec. 1, 2022 after he robbed a bank and fired on a Greenwood Village police officer, according to a report by 9news.

Prosecutors claim the man: Jonathan Bell, stole $85,000 in cash from four banks in Denver, Aurora and Greenwood Village. He was convicted of 15 counts of aggravated robbery, three counts of kidnapping, nine counts of menacing, four counts of theft, reckless endangerment and attempted manslaughter.

He will be sentenced next year.
