Police arrested James Miller Jr, 38, for an alleged ATM robbery in Lexington, Kentucky. Police discovered a Truist Bank ATM that had been damaged to the tune of nearly $35,000, according to a report by WKYT.

By reviewing security footage, police say they saw two men pull up in a van and pry open the ATM with a crowbar and sledgehammer. They then put a hook on the ATM and attempted to rip the ATM's safe off. The cable came detached from the hook and the men fled the scene, leaving the damaged ATM behind.

Police determined the van had been stolen, and then discovered another vehicle that had been circling the area during the robbery. They tracked down Miller and arrested him. He is charged with criminal mischief, theft of a motor vehicle registration plate, and theft by unlawfully taking a vehicle.
