Man arrested after 2nd attempted ATM robbery

Police have arrested an 18-year old man named Omario Brewer in Memphis, Tennessee for allegedly pistol-whipping and robbing one man at an ATM and an attempted robbery at a different ATM.

In the first incident, the victim Paulinofederio Castillo said the man pistol whipped him in the head and took $600 while he was using an ATM, according to a report by WREG.

Brewer then allegedly attempted to rob another individual, but the victim escaped and began to follow the suspect in his vehicle. He sent a picture of the alleged culprit to police, who were able to recognize him in a lineup.

Brewer is being held on a $100,000 bond and is charged with aggravated assault, robbery and attempted aggravated robbery.
