The text of the proposed bill has yet to be drafted and formally submitted to the legislature for consideration.

Senator Eric Brakey, a member of the Maine legislature, has filed a legislative request (L.R. 699) for "A bill to prohibit the use of EBT cards for cash withdrawals" in the state, according to a Stateside Alert.
A legislative request number is essentially a placeholder, or tracking number, for a bill that has yet to be submitted and printed as a legislative document.
At this point, the request only includes a short title; the text of the bill will not be available until the legislation is drafted and formally introduced in the senate. Not all legislative requests ultimately become bills, the alert said.
Should a draft bill materialize, it must be referred to a committee for an up or down vote before it can come before the senate for consideration.
