May 12, 2010

Despite the recession, credit card companies have increase their mailed offers in the first quarter of 2010.

According to an article on Debtconsolidationconnection.com, the number of credit card offers mailed out to potential customers increased 29 percent during 2010's first quarter to 481.3 million, compared to 372.4 million in 2009.

"Throughout the remainder of the year we expect to see mail volume continue its slow climb upward," said Anuj Shahani, head of competitive tracking services Synovate, the market research firm that compiled the numbers.
