Locality Bank CEO appointed chair of Florida Bankers Association

The Florida Bankers Association has appointed Keith Costello, co-founder and CEO of Locality Bank, as chairman.
The organization represents more than 150 banks, according to a press release.
Locality Bank launched in January 2022 and has more than $200 million in loans and $250 million in deposits.
"It's my great honor to serve as the next chairman, a role I take with both humility and inspiration as we go forward. I look forward to serving all the bankers in the state of Florida in my new role," Costello said in a LinkedIn post.
In his role as chairman, he aims to support better regulations to help community banks compete along with technology partnerships and streamlined chartering rules.
