Localcoin has expanded into Poland, with 14 bitcoin ATMs in the country. It accomplished this by acquiring Coinlab LLC in the market, according to a press release.

The company selected Poland due to its rising levels of adoption of cryptocurrency, especially as a crypto ATM hub. In addition, the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assetts framework will be enacted in Poland in 2026, which will set clear guidelines for licensing and consumer protection.

With these ATMs, customers can buy or sell crypto with faster verification and clear guidance on the display.

"Expanding into Poland is about meeting people where they are and giving them a safe, straightforward way to participate in the crypto economy," Jay Pandher, co-founder of Localcoin, said in the release. "Poland is one of Europe's fastest-growing crypto markets, and we're proud to bring our experience and trusted ATM network here. With 14 machines already live, this is just the start."
