LONDON -- Level Four Software, a provider of ATM test and development software, has joined the DieboldPartner Information Xchange (PIX) program, to share technical expertise with Diebold.
According to a news release, the Diebold PIX program provides a variety of opportunities for its members by leveraging a combined pool of industry knowledge, technical expertise and mutual commitment to delivering high quality solutions. Level Four now supports Diebold hardware and software platforms within its ATM Channel Development Suite, allowing Diebold customers to benefit from its development and testing toolkit.
In addition to supporting the technical needs of industry partners, PIX provides equipment, software and documentation for development and certification efforts. Diebold is providing Level Four with ATM hardware to install in its EMV Migration Workshop, which will enable Level Four to migrate customer systems to EMV and test all aspects of their ATM application, both on the customer's site and at Level Four's head office in Scotland.
Several UK banks, including Abbey National and Lloyds TSB are using Level Four's test and development tools to help prepare for EMV compliance.
By partnering with Diebold, Level Four will further strengthen its market presence, according to the release. The partnership will complement existing switch partnerships Level Four currently maintains, including ACI Worldwide and Alaric systems.
Level Four's ATM Channel Development Suite is a toolkit that allows financial institutions to develop, test and deploy new content and applications within their ATM channels. According to the release, it includes ATM Simulator, ATM Developer and EMV FastTrack plug-ins. The toolkit also enables financial institutions to offer personalized content to customers through their existing ATM networks.
As a global technology leader and innovative services provider, Diebold Nixdorf delivers the solutions that enable financial institutions to improve efficiencies, protect assets and better serve consumers.
