RALEIGH, N.C. - Nexus Software Inc., a provider of cross-channel client middleware for financial-services delivery, announced in a news release that Paris-based Le Crédit Lyonnais implemented the Developer and Self-Service versions of Nexus' INvolve middleware. LCL will use Involve to port and upgrade its ATM software solution.
LCL's previous solution was based on a proprietary application specific to each manufacturer and implemented on the DOS and Windows NT operating systems. Nexus provided integration into the open-standard INvolve middleware.
INvolve Developer Edition is used to facilitate porting and improve LCL's new software solution. LCL's software is now the only application deployed through its ATM network with the Self-Service version of INvolve.
"By using Nexus Software's INvolve Developer edition, LCL has increased its overall operational efficiency within the bank, leading to a better client experience," said Robert Usner, Nexus' director of marketing, product management and quality assurance. "The new LCL software solution will be able to handle future additions of ATMs to the Crédit Lyonnais network without making any changes to the application."
