CLEVELAND -- Cleveland-based KeyCorp's (NYSE: KEY) Agent Bank program, in which Key provides surcharge-free access to its ATM network to other financial institutions -- for a fee -- continues to grow. (See related story Building on the installed base)
Key says it has signed contracts with eight additional institutions in the state of Ohio: A/C Credit Union, Bath; Century Bank, Parma; First Service Federal Credit Union, Columbus; Home City Federal Savings Bank, Springfield; Maumee Valley Credit Union, Maumee; Med/Pro Federal Credit Union, Akron; POWERCO Credit Union, Columbus; and Vacationland Federal Credit Union, Sandusky.
Through their partnerships with Key, customers of these institutions can perform banking transactions using Key's network of 522 ATMs in Ohio, Indiana and Michigan with no additional fees. A/C Credit Union customers will receive access to an additional 282 Key ATMs within the state of New York.
Beyond its affiliations with Ohio financial institutions, Key also offers national and regional ATM access to banks, savings and loans and credit unions in Idaho, Indiana, Maine, New York and Washington, representing nearly 500,000 cardholders.
