Keybank and the Keybank Foundation supported 12 non-profit organizations in 2023 with more than $6 million in grants to support their efforts in the Cleveland, Ohio region. The grants support workforce development, education and diversity, equity and inclusion efforts, according to a press release.
Some of the nonprofits include: Downtown Cleveland Alliance, CHN Housing Partners, Youth Opportunities Unlimited and Tech Corps Ohio.
"Some of the most important work we do happens outside our four walls, in our communities," Kelly Lamirand, Cleveland market president, Keybank, said in the release. "We believe these investments will not only make our communities stronger, but more vibrant and stable. On behalf of everyone at Key, I would like to thank these organizations for the work they're doing every day to help Cleveland thrive."
Earlier in 2023, Keybank also partnered with Operation HOPE Inc. to deliver financial education and coaching through the HOPE Inside program in three branches in Buffalo, Denver and Seattle.
