Keybank appoints head of community banking

Keybank appointed Rachael Sampson as head of community banking for its Consumer Bank. In this role, she will lead the strategy, implementation and execution of consumer products and services for customers in low-to-moderate income and ethnically diverse areas. She will also help lead Keybank's initiatives for women and diverse clients, according to a press release.

Sampson previously served as a commercial bank relationship manager in Keybank's Cincinnati market. She will report to Victor Alexander, head of Keybank's Consumer Bank.

"Rachael's promotion is reflective of and the next step in the significant progress we've made in reaching and helping clients in low-to-moderate income and diverse segments," Alexander said in the release. "We are excited about the work Rachael and her teams will do to amplify and build upon our efforts, which includes three special purpose credit programs for homebuyers and homeowners, and drive consistency and execution across our footprint."
