KAL offering Windows 11 upgrades via Kalignite

Microsoft will be ending support for non-LTSC versions of Windows 10 on Oct. 14, which means ATMs need to upgrade to Windows 11.

KAL ATM Software announced that its Kalignite software suite is compatible with Windows 11, according to a press release.

This software is compatible with more than 40 ATM hardware manufacturers. KAL also offers its Kalignite Hypervisor solution to enable Windows 11 to work on older ATMs.

"All KAL products are engineered to ensure long-term future readiness for banks. Through Kalignite Hypervisor, we have paved an easier road to Windows upgrades for ATM networks, making it possible for banks to run Windows 11 on ATMs even in cases where hardware vendors don't support it yet," Aravinda Korala, CEO of KAL, said in the release.
