KAL intros acquiring host system for financial institutions

KAL ATM Software released its latest version of Kalignite Terminal Host, which provides a variety of different capabilities such as end-to-end transaction processing, card scheme gateway support and security features, according to a press release.

KTH runs on virtual servers in the cloud or on-premises to reduce costs. It is also integrated with KAL's K3A app and KTC management system. The host comes with configurable core code and virtualization support to support new ATM transaction types.

The aim of this host is to help banks differentiate themselves and improve the customer experience.

"As banks grow more reliant on ATMs to deliver services, there is a greater demand for streamlined software development and support for new transaction types," Aravinda Korala, CEO of KAL, said in the release. "KTH thrives in this context as a fully integrated acquiring host. It has a superior transaction set and an architecture that is engineered to scale as needed.
