John Marshall Bank hires on SVP

John Marshall Bank, a subsidiary of John Marshall Bancorp Inc., hired Ross A. Berman as SVP, commercial team lead in the Rockville, Maryland market. Prior to joining John Marshall Bank, Berman served as SVP, commercial loan officer for Forbright Bank, according to a press release.

In this role, Berman will lead commercial sales and business development efforts in the larger DC Metro market.

"We are excited for Ross to lead our commercial lending efforts in Rockville," Jason R. McDonough, EVP, chief lending officer, said in the release. "His extensive business development background and relationship management will elevate our reach in the vibrant Montgomery County and Washington, DC markets."
