IranMania: Iranian nationals can soon use their ATM cards in some of the Persian Gulf littoral states' banks, said the deputy governor of Central Bank of Iran.
Alireza Shirani told Fars News Agency that the CBI has reached agreements with United Arab Emirates and Bahrain to link the ATM systems of the two Persian Gulf countries to that of Iran.
The official noted that talks will be held with Saudi Arabia next month on providing the same facilities.
The ATM systems of all Iranian banks, excluding Bank Refah and Bank Maskan, are connected to each other through the Shetab system.
