ION appoints former Microsoft exec to EVP role

ION, a provider of trading, analytics and risk management solutions for capital markets, commodities and treasury management, has hired Carlo Purassanta to serve as EVP of strategy and corporate development. Prior to joining ION, Purassanta served as president of Microsoft France, according to a press release.
